I changed the name of the Network and then I could connect. Here is my bridge set up to Lan-to-Lan on the EA4500.. 1. I set the SSID and Password the same as my Main router (EA6500).

May 14, 2020 · My ISP modem/router still emits wifi which works and is FASTER then my ASUS router. My understanding is, once bridge mode is activated, it should disable the 'router' function of the modem.

While the router is rebooting and your PC is still LAN wired connected to the back of the DIR series router your configuring for wireless bridge, connect a LAN wire from the back of your main host router or LAN network switch to one of the other open LAN port connectors on the back of the DIR series router that your configuring for bridge mode.
